There are two aggressive bears in the neighbourhood, spotted at the end of Johnson Street. They ripped down a property owner’s fence and took their goat today … and then came back tonight.

The conservation officer came out today and said they wouldn’t set a trap until they found a carcass. (He suggested the property owners put up an electric fence.)

The police advise to keep calling the conservation officer to set a trap. (Squeaky wheel gets the grease.)

These bears are aggressive and are not afraid of people or dogs so keep your eye out.
